Our Building
The Base has been purpose-built to provide a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for adults with learning disabilities. Our facilities are designed to support a wide range of activities and individual needs.
Main Activity Hall
A large, bright hall used for group activities, music sessions, drama, and community events.
Arts & Crafts Studio
A dedicated creative space equipped for painting, pottery, textiles and other art forms.
Tech Corner
A dedicated space with a computer and tablets for skills development, communication, and leisure.
Training Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen used for cookery sessions, nutritional education, and life skills development.
Sensory Room
A dedicated sensory environment designed to support relaxation and stimulation for individuals with higher support needs.
Quiet Room
A calm, relaxed space available for individuals who need a quieter environment or one-to-one support sessions.
Accessible Bathrooms
Fully equipped accessible bathrooms and personal care facilities available throughout the building.
Outdoor Space
A secure outdoor area used for gardening projects, outdoor activities and socialising.
Fully Accessible
The Base is fully accessible for wheelchair users. All areas are on one level and the building features wide doorways, accessible toilets, and a hearing loop system. We are committed to ensuring that our environment is welcoming and accessible to everyone.
