What We Do
At The Base, we offer a wide and varied programme of activities designed to be enjoyable, stimulating, and meaningful. Our activities are planned around the interests and goals of the people who attend, and we regularly review and update our programme to keep things fresh and exciting.

The Base is a day care and community centre for adults with learning disabilities. We offer daytime support for service users, daytime respite for families with a varied timetable of activities within our spacious adapted building or in the community.
People are welcome to come along with their own carer or P.A. Alternatively, you can commission support from us year round or for college holidays.
We are open Monday–Friday, between 8.00–4.30 (other days and times are available by arrangement).
We offer a number of person centred options which can include shared or 1:1 support dependent upon needs/requirements and incorporate regular off-site community based activities or on-site life skills sessions.
