If you have read all the information and want to enquire about coming to The Base either to see what it’s like or on a more permanent basis, please have a look at the instructions below. They should give you an idea of the process we follow when someone makes and enquiry.

Don’t worry, making an enquiry doesn’t mean that you have to make a commitment to start coming to The Base every week. We can work out a timetable, pricing and organise taster sessions.

Only when you are really happy with everything, you can sign up properly.

  • Let’s get to know each other

Give us a ring to disucss your requirements. You can then pop in and visit us, where we can answer all your questions.

You will then be able to see what we do and decide if you’d like to join us.

  • Decide what you would like to do

Decide what days and activities you would like to do. This will help us to draft a timetable and provide you witha rough idea of costs.

If you like, we can organise a taster session, which will allow you to see if you like it before signing up properly.

  • Agree a package that’s right for you

When you are happy with the proposed timetable, we can work with you, your family and your social worker to agree a package.

If you don’t already get direct funding, we can talk with your social worker to apply for this.

  • Creating your support plan

When the funding has been agreed, we need to fill out some paperwork about you that tells us what you want from us. This helps us create a unique support plan for you.

We will then ask you or someone on your behalf to sign the paperwork when everyone is happy.

  • Your start date

Once everything has been agreed, we can provide you with your start date.
